Kev was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding day! He ensured that we had an awesome, well mixed soundtrack for the night and surprised us with a video of our first dance, friends and family on the dance floor, and a copy of the entire mix (which was great as we weren't able to be present for the entire night). He worked very closely with our MC to ensure a super smooth intro and walk-in to our reception. I would highly recommend Kev for your next event or special day if you are after someone who cares about providing the best mix to suit all your guests' tastes for an unforgettable evening. He also has a kick-ass setup to boot! :D

We couldn't be more grateful for DJ Kev! We are a couple who wanted the entire journey to be as stress free as possible and to focus on connection and joy. Kev really brought a calm, supportive and fun energy the whole way through. We thought we were placing a tall order in wanting to incorporate music from multiple cultures and places around the world! Kev accommodated without hesitating and delivered on the day! It was amazing to be able to dance at our wedding to all the music that formed part of our life journeys. All our guests had the best time, the music flowed perfectly through the night! It was beautiful to see multiple generations partying together and everyone feeling included. Kev was such an amazing and vital part to my play in my engagement party! He went with the flow and read the guests perfectly. Transitions and lights were great and he was considerate when I mentioned I had a guest coming with epilepsy. Everyone was talking about how great the music was! Kev is easy going and beyond excited to have him for my wedding too!

So glad I stumbled across DJ Kev from Rhythm and Beats for my 40th birthday celebrations. Being an old school Rnb fan, I really wanted a DJ who could mix in all my favourite old school beats that me and my guests could dance to all night long, and he didn’t disappoint! Taking us right back with some great tunes that had us reliving our twenties again! His communication and service in the lead up to the event was also seamless, ensuring I was happy with everything he had planned! Thanks again Kev, will definitely be hitting you up for future events.

Kev was amazing from the get go. He was keen to work together and get to know our vision for the night which I really appreciated. I was particular with my taste in music and also what my parents/family wanted to dance to. I wanted to accomodate the cultural side as well as the old school dance floor bangers and Kev had the tools to make this work. I was able to make up my own playlist either on Spotify or on his dedicated platform (which was something I’d never come across with the other DJ’s I’d enquired with). He knew the assignment and he pulled it off. My parents were also picky with the sound system but Kev’s set up exceeded their expectations. Thanks for a great night!
